Lila made some artwork.
I made The Pioneer Woman's braised short ribs.
Nellie enjoyed a pancetta and cream cheese sandwich, her own original recipe. Gross.
The girls played in the sprinkler.
Nellie helped in the garden by planting some corn.
Then we put Lucy to work watering the garden.
On this day in 2010, we attended the annual picnic my midwives host at Cauble Park in Acworth. If you click the link, Lila is the baby with the rose petals on the banner of their homepage.
After the picnic, we drove to Nashville to see Jimmy Buffett perform. This was also the day of the big flood in Nashville. We had quite an adventure getting downtown with closed and flooded interstates and houses floating by!
