May 6 - Seis de Mayo

Lila really wanted to eat at a Mexican restaurant for Cinco de Mayo, but since it's such a crazy, crowded night, we promised her that we would celebrate tonight instead. We picked up takeout at El Azteca, our favorite Mexican restaurant and ate it on our patio. Nellie and Lila love chips and cheese dip.

Lucy loves her daddy.

After dinner, we watched Modern Family, everyone's favorite TV show. Lila wears her glasses so that she can pretend to be Alex.

On this day in 2010, Lila and Nellie played in the birth pool in the back yard. It didn't make it through the summer, so I had to buy a new one for Lucy's birth.
