We spent the afternoon at the
Chattahoochee Nature Center with the Dunwoody Homeschool Hive. This is one of my favorite area attractions. I always leave inspired to learn more about native plants and animals and to actually read my field guides and identify the creatures in our yard. I still haven't done it yet, but someday. Someday.

Some wildlife.

Corn snake encounter.

More wildlife.

A native species with her offspring.
On this day in 2008, Lila dressed up like a princess.
